Bold prediction: Affiliate Genie will make affiliate marketers forget about Wordpress. At least the best marketers will.
On the market from early December 2009, Affiliate Genie does what an Internet marketer needs a content management system to do – and nothing more.
Wordpress is stripped of all its bells and whistles and laid out for affiliate marketing. More powerful for marketing. Maybe less so for personal blogging, but I’m online to make make money.
Chris Rempel’s template builds on his affiliate marketing philosophy:
1. create product review sites
2. as easy to use as Wordpress but faster and better for marketing
3. capture visitors who are ready to buy, not tire-kickers
4. targeted traffic with natural SEO
5. promotes a featured affiliate program at the top of each page or review
6. remove distractions – concentrate on a call to action
CR does not rely on gimmicks, lists, PPC, or any latest fad or trick. The idea is that you don’t need a ton of visitors to your website, just the ones with credit cards in hand. Let the other guys educate. You want to jump into the visitor’s buying cycle when they are ready to act.
How to maximize the value of Affiliate Genie:
1. follow the included manuals – why reinvent the wheel
2. pump out valuable content
3. create a minimum of 10 articles, pages, and reviews each day
4. make your review the last page a visitor sees before clicking the buy button
5. post the daily results page widely in social media, free blog hosts, and free web pages like Squidoo and hubpages
6. add video
By combining social bookmarking, social networking, and posting a daily summary to free blogs and other sites, you should be able to drive traffic to your reviews.
My initial sites built with AG have over delivered. What I find thrilling is:

* pre-set pages to enter your own privacy policy and extended disclaimers
* customize colors and logo in seconds
* keeping the template clean and simple
* rate each product 1 to 5 stars
* disclosure of whether or not the author has tested or just researched the product
* pages load faster than Wordpress

* simple one-click backup
NOTE: While Chris Rempel (AG creator) hates spinners, I believe there is a legitimate use. Maybe he is talking about automatic spinners that create unnatural content.
Most bookmarking sites give you space for a summary or comment of the item bookmarked. A good spinner can create endless short, unique comments to prevent any rare but possible duplicate content penalties.
Every product lacks something we might want. The only drawbacks I find irritating are:
1. don’t use special characters in the title, or the page won’t save
2. although improved from the first release, category system is a bit hulking
3. unlike WP, AG does cost a few bucks
All in all, dump Wordpress and focus on marketing, not pretty themes and plugins.
